The Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS) is set for rapid growth area over the next five years. It provides an exciting environment embracing new, creative ideas. The Faculty currently comprises Webster Graduate School, which delivers American postgraduate degrees, including business courses, Regent's American College London, offering US undergraduate degrees, the new London School of Film, Media and Performance, and the School of Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology, which offers professional and postgraduate training in the talking therapies.

Salary: circa £39,000 per annum, pro rata - depending on qualifications and expertise

This is a fractional position (0.5) with time given for professional development/research.

The School seeks a Course Leader who meets criteria for lecturer or senior lecturer in integrative psychotherapy to lead the new Certificate in Integrative Supervision. The School provides courses from Certificates to Professional Doctorates and PhDs, and professional diplomas leading to UKCP registration. It has a thriving and growing portfolio of applied research linked to its postgraduate and doctoral programmes.

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic tutor to lead and develop the School's new professional certificate in integrative supervision. The position will have responsibility for the course's resources and academic quality, and will report directly to the Head of School.   

Candidates should have experience in the delivery of academic programmes, have developed leadership skills, and considerable experience of role of clinical supervision in the professional arena. Experience of research and publication in the field is desirable.  Above all, the College and SPCP seek a strong personal commitment to achieve excellent outcomes for its students and trainees.  

The successful candidate will ideally hold a Doctorate in an allied discipline, must be a member of the UKCP, have experience in leading academic or professional teams and be familiar and sympathetic to an integrative approach to psychotherapy and counselling.

Senior Lecturer status will be subject to candidates meeting the relevant criteria to justify the title of Senior Lecturer.
