The Research Institute for the Humanities at Keele University brings together over 100 academic staff and postgraduate students. The College of Arts and Social Sciences at Salford is home to over 300 academic staff and postgraduate students. The Universities are home to world-class scholars and research groups within the Arts and Humanities.
Keele University and the University of Salford are in receipt of an Arts and Humanities Research Council Block Grant Partnership, totalling 26 studentships over three years. Awards are available at the University of Salford to commence in October 2012 in the following areas:
Doctoral Studentship in English
Professional Preparation Masters in Museum Studies, MA
Professional Preparation Masters in Creative Writing, MA
Professional Preparation Masters in Film, Digital and Media Production, MA
The University of Salford is also offering GTAs in a variety of research areas.
The two universities will explore collaborative supervisory arrangements and successful candidates will be able to take advantage of the research culture of each of the collaborating institutions.
