Cardiff University is currently a Block Grant Partnership holder for the AHRC. Cardiff Law School is inviting applications for AHRC funding in Law.
Proposals for research in all areas of Law are welcome. An indicative list of areas in which specialist supervision in Cardiff Law School is available includes:
• Canon Law
• Commercial Law
• Environmental Law and Regulation
• European Law and Public International Law
• Family Law (including its international aspects)
• Governance and Devolution
• Medical Law, Bio-Ethics and Regulation
• Property Law
• Public Law and Human Rights
• Civil Justice (Courts, Legal Services and the Tort system)

Funding and Eligibility
AHRC postgraduate studentships provide full-awards for part-time or full-time study (UK/EU tuition fees plus a maintenance stipend at nationally-agreed levels) to UK and EU candidates who meet UK residency criteria; other EU candidates may be eligible for a fees-only award.
Academic Criteria: Students should have or expect to achieve a First Class Honours Degree or high 2.1 in Law or a related discipline. Candidates with a distinction in a Masters degree will also be considered.
