Salary range: £25,101 - £28,251 per annum
Marketing and Development Service (M&DS) is seeking to appoint an Assistant Publications Officer to join the busy Media and Corporate Communications team. Reporting to the Publications Manager, the role is wide-ranging and takes in publications in its widest sense - hard copy publications, digital publications, bulk email communications, website and social media.
Applicants are required to have experience of managing the whole life cycle of publications. Of particular interest are project management skills and experience of working closely with colleagues or third parties to deliver projects on time, to budget and making the most of recent developments. Given the Publications Team's extensive remit, experience of design, creating web sites, content management systems, running focus groups, surveying, editing, copywriting and creative use of social media will all be looked on favourably. Naturally, the successful applicant should demonstrate the ability to work both as part of a team as well as autonomously.
