We are looking for an enthusiastic self starter to join the Biobank team within the Clinical Deanery. You will provide routine technical support to the central Biomedicine Biobank, carrying out support to receive samples into, and take samples out of the storage facilities of the central Biomedicine Biobank and maintaining the tracking system. You will undertake routine processing of the samples in the Biobank, and support the Histopathology Technician with the routine research projects as a service, with quantitative and qualitative analysis. You will also provide a support role for safety, equipment and laboratory operational purposes. You should hold a minimum of ONC/OND or equivalent in a relevant subject, and have previous experience working under laboratory conditions using a wide range of pathology based techniques.
