You will advise and lead on the technical design of data warehouse architecture and implement solutions for the university's Business Intelligence (BI) project. You will ensure that the BI architecture is compatible and consistent with the existing IT deployment and infrastructure model, based on Oracle, SQLServer and existing Business Objects reports, and engage with business and IT professionals in implementing the chosen BI and data warehousing solution. You will have a degree or equivalent professional qualification, in-depth knowledge of BI and data warehouse technologies and applications, and practical experience in implementing the associated technical change within an organisation. This position would suit those with strong hands-on technical experience in data modelling, ETL and data warehouse design and build. The post is fixed-term for two years.
