Description

In recognition of its success in teaching and research, the Department of Civil Engineering is seeking to appoint a Professor in the general area of dynamics, structures and materials related to “ground engineering”.

You should have a compelling vision for how some of the long-term industrial and societal challenges facing the built environment should be met, and how you would develop Bristol's world class research in geotechnics, dynamics, materials and earthquake engineering in response.

You will be expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students and to contribute to the excellent reputation of the University of Bristol in research and enterprise.
