Bucks New University is a dynamic and rapidly expanding institution with a diverse portfolio of undergraduate and post graduate programmes alongside an expanding research portfolio. The School of Social Sciences, Primary Care and Education is comprised of 5 academic departments (criminal justice; education; primary care; psychology and social work). All programmes in the School are underpinned by a key commitment to enhancing the student experience, and are supported by excellent collaborative partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders, employers and service users and carers.

£52,560 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Social Work academic who will lead and manage this highly successful department which provides both qualifying and post qualifying programmes. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic person to lead this department which has an outstanding reputation for high quality education. You will have a strong commitment to delivering excellent and innovative social work education and will have previous experience of managing people or leading a social work course. You will be an excellent communicator, with a vision for the future of social work education, and be able to lead future developments which inspire the confidence of others.
