Salary: £27,428 - £35,788 pa
We would like to recruit an Early Phase Trials Facilitator Coordinator, who will coordinate the set-up, conduct and reporting of both commercial and non-commercially funded cancer clinical trials undertaken by the Early Phase Clinical Trials Team (EPCTT) within the Cambridge Cancer Trials Centre.
The Early Phase Clinical Trials Team (EPCTT) is a multidisciplinary group, led by Professor Duncan Jodrell. The EPCTT's research goals are to optimise the 'science-led' clinical application of novel therapies, including 'first into man' (phase I) and associated studies.

Successful candidates will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a biological, physical, social, or related science discipline (a higher degree is desirable, but not essential). They will have sufficient demonstrable experience of clinical trial set up, conduct and reporting and will have demonstrable leadership skills to supervise data managers and a data clerk. They should also have strong inter-personal skills and the ability to interact with various levels of NHS professional staff, in particular senior clinicians and research nurses.
Demonstrable knowledge of the EU Clinical Trials Directive, GCP, regulatory processes and regulatory audit and inspection is essential. Previous experience of a MHRA inspection would be highly desirable.
