Salary range: up to £34,607

These three specialist collections, an integral part of NHS Evidence, hold internet-based, evaluated core resources on cardiovascular, stroke and vascular diseases. Funded and provided by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), NHS Evidence is the major new information resource for the NHS. Supporting the delivery of this important national project, you will keep resources up to date, develop annual evidence updates and help to identify uncertainties. You will have the opportunity to work closely with leading clinicians and other stakeholders, and to contribute as a member of a network of information specialists working across the NHS Evidence community.

With a degree or related qualification in Information and Library Studies you will have an understanding of evidence based practice, excellent communication skills and experience in web-based working. Knowledge of cardiovascular diseases, stroke and related topics is not essential as this will be gained on the job.
