We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced IT Project Manager to lead on the procurement and implementation of a new timetabling system.
The University of Westminster is improving its existing academic timetabling management processes and system and has created a project to deliver an efficient timetabling system, improve collaborative working practices and provide an excellent end user experience which increases space efficiencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for the project planning, management and delivery of up to date, University-wide, timetable management.
The post-holder will lead a small cross-departmental team dedicated to the delivery of this project, act as liaison with implementation partners, co-ordinate activities of technical teams and liaise with the Schools and Corporate Departments for delivery. The project uses Prince2 for planning, delivery and reporting.
The successful candidate must be educated to at least degree level and hold a certification at Prince2 Practitioner level. Substantial knowledge of academic timetabling and space management processes, preferably in higher education is essential. You will be highly IT literate with excellent communication and presentation skills. Substantial experience of working within an IT project management environment with demonstrable successes in delivery of large corporate systems is essential.
