Salary: Up to £27,428, rising to £35,788.

You will manage the operation and maintenance of the Emerson Cavitation Tunnel, but extending to providing management and academic support to the Laboratory Director by taking full responsibility in the Director’s absence.
You should hold a degree in Marine Technology or other appropriate engineering subject. Previous experience in Cavitation Tunnel operation, marine technology model testing facilities, and experience in a training or educational capacity, as well as evidence of presenting at conferences and/ or preparation of high quality publications would be a distinct advantage.
Essential skills include team working; the ability to organise, plan and communicate; practical and conceptual technical skills; enthusiasm and the ability to work under own initiative.
