The Research Complex at Harwell (RCaH), Didcot
The Research Complex at Harwell is an RCUK project, a joint initiative of the research councils and Diamond Light Source to provide new state-of-the-art multidisciplinary research laboratories. RCaH opened in early 2010 and is managed by the Medical Research Council (MRC) on behalf of the other partners involved in this project. More information is available at www.rc-harwell.ac.uk.
Laboratory Support Assistant
Salary Scale: £15,929 - £21,291 per annum
The initial salary on commencement is up to £17,575pa depending on skills and experience
This permanent position is available for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Research Complex core team providing support to the research groups working at the Complex. Your role will be involved in cleaning and processing glass and plastics using our autoclaves and washing machines. You will also assist in the production of a range of sterile media, water and solutions to the labs within the Complex. The role also includes some routine housekeeping within the laboratories, and previous laboratory experience is essential.
