Coventry University College offers a new approach to teaching and learning in higher education. Opening in September 2012, it will provide a range of degrees and professional qualifications. A key component of the College's courses is that they will make full use of available learning technologies such that students can learn in the classroom and on-line.
The post offers an exciting opportunity to work with a new and enthusiastic team of staff to develop and maintain the online version of the College's curriculum thereby helping the College meet its commitment to the effective use of twenty-first century learning technologies.
This is an exciting role in a new and dynamic organisation. You will bring a considerable track record of achievement in a similar role along with enthusiasm to work as part of a team to secure the success of this new venture.
Essential attributes would be a degree or equivalent in relevant discipline, experience of working with a major VLE such as Moodle, WebCT or Blackboard. You should have an active interest in one or more areas relating to the use of technology to support learning with the ability to learn new IT applications. You must be able to generate and follow through innovative ideas, meet targets and deadlines.
