Applications are invited for a temporary, 3-year post as Lecturer in Actuarial Science with the UCD School of Mathematical Sciences.
UCD School of Mathematical Sciences is committed to research and teaching across the mathematical sciences, including statistics, actuarial science, mathematics and applied mathematics.
The successful candidate will be expected to engage in fundamental research in Actuarial Science, including supervision of research students and projects, and to contribute to the School's wide-ranging programme of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
2010 Lecturer Scale: €35,355 - €81,452 p.a.
*2011 Lecturer Scale: €31,820 - €73,307 p.a.
Subject to all new entrants to public sector as of 01 January 2011
Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
