The School of Sport and Education is made up of the Sport Sciences and Education subject areas, which have consistently been rated highly in national league tables. This reflects a strong tradition in Sport and Education coupled with major investment in state-of-the-art sports and laboratory facilities for research and teaching leading to significant growth and development over the last five years. The School offers a vibrant, dynamic environment in which to research and teach. There is a stimulating mix of new researchers working alongside more experienced colleagues.

We are looking to recruit two lecturers in Education. Applicants will be enthusiastic, creative individuals with research and teaching interests in a field of education relevant to the work of the School. We particularly welcome applicants whose research and teaching focuses on Teacher Education, any subject relevant to the Primary or Secondary Teacher Education courses offered at Brunel, Special Educational Needs, Leadership and Management of Education or which uses quantitative methodology.
You should have a doctorate in a relevant discipline, a record of research with publications in high quality journals and a demonstrable potential for attracting external grant income.
