The School of Humanities and Social Sciences comprises approximately 2400 students and 80 staff. The School's academic portfolio includes English, Media, History, Politics, Criminology, Sociology, Law and Languages.
Of specific relevance to this post the Department of Creative, Critical and Communication Studies is home to 10 academic and 2 technical staff, circa 350 undergraduate students and an increasing body of postgraduates. As with many similar departments, undergraduate student numbers have risen in recent years providing scope for the expansion and diversification of media programmes.
You will be expected to provide high quality teaching on a range of video production based courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level, including the supervision of practical projects, provide tutorial and technical support and help co-ordinate the end of year student shows.
Salary £33260 - £47304 per annum inclusive
