The Department of Media Technology within De Montfort University is acknowledged as a pioneer in the area of digital media, offering courses in Media Production, Music Technology, Media Technology, Audio and Recording Technology and Multimedia Computing, amongst others. You will be working with a group of academics involved in the delivery of modules in the still and moving image subject area. This group is also responsible for the BSc Media Production degree, which is run in conjunction with the BBC.

You will be responsible for developing and teaching a range of modules in television and video production. You will also be involved in the development of studio and laboratory facilities to support this teaching.

A degree qualification in a relevant related technical area together with a sound knowledge of television operations, processes and technologies is essential. We are particularly interested in applicants with a proven track record in research and/or significant practical experience in this field. You must be highly motivated, with a flexible approach to work, and a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
