Holding a good honours degree in health or social sciences, plus a relevant Masters degree, you will utilise your knowledge of research methods and the evidence based practice process to work within the Research Methods team to deliver modules and programmes related to evidence based practice and research methods. Reporting to the Dean of School, you will also be required to supervise student projects, particularly postgraduate, and will undertake research and/or consultancy to publish research in peer review journals.
Previous relevant teaching experience at HE level is essential as are good communication and presentation skills and appropriate IT and team working skills. Knowledge of psychological approaches to health would be advantageous.
The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory CRB disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau is required as part of our clearance procedures.
