Position:
The position is in the Department of Business Administration. Rank is open and will depend on experience and accomplishments. Beginning date is August 2011.
Responsibilities:
Teach 7 courses per academic year (9 months) with normally 2 or 3 preparations per semester. Teaching is primarily at the undergraduate level although opportunity to teach in the Executive MBA Program may also exist. Publish research in peer-reviewed venues. Advise students regarding graduation and other academic issues. Participate on University and Departmental committees.
Qualifications:
Required: Demonstrated ability to teach Marketing Principles, Marketing Research and other upper-level undergraduate courses in marketing. Be dedicated to an interactive teaching style. Possess a Ph.D. or DBA in business administration with a major field in marketing from an accredited institution. Applicants with a firm anticipated graduation date for the terminal degree are encouraged to apply. Be able to speak English fluently. Be experienced with the American liberal arts teaching format.
Desirable: Possess teaching experience and industrial experience in the field of marketing. Have international experience. Have a minor field of study and ability to teach secondarily in either operations management or decision sciences.
