Cranfield's internationally renowned Centre for Water Sciences hosts the specialist MSc in Water and Wastewater Engineering. Developed in response to increasing pressure from demographic and climatic changes, this course produces well educated graduates who can support the delivery of essential water and wastewater treatment services.

Students will develop knowledge and expertise in process, hydraulics and pumping system design and engineering. Graduates of this programme secure positions in UK and European water companies, major international engineering consultancies and service contractors, and government agencies.

This course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management.

Duration: MSc: 1 year full time, starting October 2011, 2-3 year part time starting throughout the year. The part-time programme is a flexible, modular route, with IT support to enable professionals working in organisations to study as part of a career development programme. A MTech in Water Management is also available and lasts 24 months

Entry Requirements: Candidates must possess, or be expected to achieve, a 1st or 2nd class UK honours degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as science, environment students or engineering. Other relevant qualifications, together with considerable experience, may be considered.
