In the heart of the city's cultural quarter, Leeds College of Music is a contemporary conservatoire preparing musicians and producers for successful careers in the creative industries.

Grade 7, FTE Salary: £28,983 - £32,600 (Pro-rata £7,661 - £8,622)
Term time only - 32 weeks per year - 13 hours per week
Some negotiation is possible over distribution of hours over the week

Leeds College of Music is looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and pro-active Learning Support Tutor.

The successful candidate will provide learning support to individual students on both F.E. and H.E. programmes. You will be responsive to student needs and will monitor and evaluate progress.

Experience of providing learning support within an educational environment is essential, as is a teaching qualification. A specialist dyslexia qualification is desirable, as is experience of working with students with learning difficulties. You must be a team player, have good communication and organisation skills, as well as being computer literate. You must be able to work on your own initiative.
