The Faculty of Education, Health and Social Care is seeking to appoint a well organised, people orientated, highly motivated person to the post of Partnership Co-ordinator (Administration). In addition to a large undergraduate primary education degree, the Faculty offers full and part-time postgraduate Initial Teacher Education (ITE) and continuing professional development programme for serving teachers and other professionals.
The successful candidate will work with the Partnership Manager and the Partnership Office to manage students learning and development in schools, including allocating over 1000 placements per annum. This person will have overall responsibility for administration within the Partnership Office, to sustain and develop administrative practices. The post involves working closely with a very large team of academic staff and students and considerable liaison with school administration staff, teachers and Headteachers of partnership schools, with the demands of the post changing in accordance with the development of partnership arrangements with the schools.
The successful candidate will be an experienced, skilled administrator, with some understanding of school systems. The ideal candidate for this role you will have previous experience in a busy office, some understanding of ITE, and hold at least 'A' level or equivalent qualifications. The candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and, will relish the opportunity to use their initiative, organisation and prioritisation skills.
