Wessex Institute of Technology requires a Post Doctoral Fellow to work in the Environmental Fluid Mechanics Division. The Fellow will carry out research on an EU project on the use of Sonochemistry for the creation of Nanoparticles and impregnation of Medical Textiles with Nanoparticles. The Fellow will take part in the supervision of two PhD students working on modelling of propagation of acoustic waves in a bubbly liquid and the modelling of multiple bubble dynamics interacting with a multidisciplinary team.
Candidates are expected to hold a good degree in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics and a PhD in a relevant discipline. It would be beneficial if the applicant has experience in at least one of the following: numerical modelling, CFD, FLUENT/ANSYS.
