The Institute for Health, Medical Sciences and Society is one of the largest areas within Glyndwr University, providing professional and vocational programmes to the Health and Lifelong Learning sector.
Social Work at Glyndwr University works with local communities to sustain and develop the workforce of social care in North Wales. We are committed to social inclusion and social justice and work in partnership with Local Authorities, service users and carers in the planning and delivery of undergraduate and post-graduate programs. To accommodate this growth, we are seeking to make an appointment to contribute towards the rapidly growing provision of social work education at Glyndwr to coordinate the extensive fieldwork and placement provision across North Wales and the English border.
Applications are welcome from individuals who have a recognised qualification in Social Work alongside the Practice Teaching award. Knowledge and experience of working in partnership with various agencies and wider communities, as well as experience of assessing students undertaking social work placements is essential.
