Job description:
This is a unique opportunity to lead an internationally renowned research centre in health and planning. The postholder will be appointed to assist and support with the direction of the newly re-designated WHO Collaborating Centre for Healthy Urban Environments, liaising with the European Healthy Cities network, and WHO programmes across the world.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an internationally recognised research and publication record in the field of planning and health, and provide evidence of inspirational research leadership. In addition to undertaking international research, the candidate will be expected to contribute to the extensive knowledge exchange mission of the WHO Centre, building partnerships with practice, and interpreting research for practice - through in-house facilitation, consultancy, training, placements, inter-professional seminars and educational development.
Salary band: £54,283 - £55,908
