£29,853 - £35,646 p.a.
The University is seeking a programmer to join a dynamic team to assist with a programme of projects. The main duty will be to support existing business systems to maintain a high quality operational service to the University during a number of implementation projects. There may be an opportunity to develop some smallscale solutions for particular business needs.
The successful candidates will have:
- solid Java and/or SQL programming experience, ideally with knowledge of Oracle databases
- experience of supporting computer applications in the user area
- knowledge of programming design concepts
- a strong customer service focus
- a flexible approach.
Also advantageous would be:
- experience of working in a higher education environment.
A degree or equivalent qualification is essential. The post will be fixed term for two years.
