NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde have been awarded Scottish Government funding to role out a project called Healthier, Wealthier Children. The project aims to test out a partnership model of providing income maximisation advice and to establish links between this service provision and health and other services in the longer term. Glasgow Centre for Population Health (GCPH) is recruiting researchers to develop and implement the evaluation programme for the project.

The post involves working with GCPH colleagues and the Healthier, Wealthier Children project team to lead on the design and delivery of the evaluation programme including planning fieldwork as well as collecting, manipulating, analysing and presenting qualitative and quantitative data. The post requires specialist research expertise and technical skill and the ability to work with a large and diverse project team including frontline health staff. A postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualification/knowledge and demonstrable skills gained through experience are essential. You will also have knowledge of health inequalities and health improvement, well developed analytical and communication skills and a commitment to improving population health and tackling health inequalities.

The Glasgow Centre for Population Health is a partnership between NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Glasgow City Council and the University of Glasgow, supported by the Scottish Government.
