Fixed Term Contract £45,336-£59,154 per annum

The School of Health, The University of Northampton and Moulton College are looking to recruit a reader/professor to lead the research activity of the two institutions in sport science and to develop a cross-institutional research team. An interest in physical activity and health would be an advantage as the post resides within the Centre for Health and Wellbeing Research at the university.

The post holder will be expected to be an academic leader in their discipline and demonstrate the ability to develop and head research groups, attract external funding, supervise post graduate students, and engage in collaborative research and enterprise activities. A recent and relevant publication record is also a requirement for this post. In order to be appointed at professorial level the successful applicants will also have to fulfil the university's criteria for appointment of professors.
