Killgerm Group and the University of Salford are seeking an ambitious individual to manage an exciting KTP project. The aim of this challenging project is to develop a robust evidence based portfolio of the impact of pests on health and wellbeing which can be presented and used by those meeting with Government and industry to promote responsible pest management. Based at Killgerm Group offices in Ossett, West Yorkshire, you will manage the project supported by the experienced staff from Killgerm Group Ltd and this forward-thinking University.
Killgerm Group Ltd is the UK's leading supplier of public health pest control products. It works closely with environmental and public health organisations to protect the health and wellbeing of consumers; and with Government Departments to raise standards within the pest management/environmental health industry. Killgerm's strategy is to be a leading authority within the pest control industry throughout Europe, which it is hoped will be achieved through the increased knowledge and data this Knowledge Transfer Partnership will bring. It is the intention to use these methodologies to work with subsidiary companies in the Benelux, Germany, Poland, Switzerland and Spain and disseminate this knowledge throughout Europe.
This KTP will allow Killgerm to lead in this area, gain recognition and raise the profile of the pest industry not just in the UK but also within Europe as a whole. As a KTP Associate you will have the opportunity to travel abroad and work at a strategic level within the organisation with the support of the Academic team from the University of Salford. In addition to this exciting opportunity, you will also complete a Diploma in Management and have a substantial budget for additional training and higher degree registration.
