Description
We are seeking a dynamic individual to act as the Project Coordinator for the "ACTION 330" project.
ACTION 330 is a study that involves developing and then conducting a pilot test of new physical activity intervention. The ACTION 330 intervention will be delivered in local primary schools by Teaching Assistants who will be trained as part of the study. The new programme will be offered to all Year 5 and 6 students in the intervention schools in the period immediately after-school.
With the support of a strong academic team, you will organise aspects of the formative work (i.e. in-depth interviews) that will be conducted to design the intervention.
If successful, you may be appointed either on a fixed-term or an open-ended contract depending on the extent of your previous relevant research experience. Three years' appropriate and relevant experience at another higher education institution would normally lead to an appointment on an open-ended contract.
