Salary: £27,578 to £35,939 per annum

The project involves the pyrolysis of waste plastics and their conversion into liquid fuels.  A lab-scale version of the Cynar plc. Technology will be constructed and utilized.  Advanced analytical techniques will allow examination of the process at various points, in order to build detailed knowledge of the mechanisms involved.

A degree and either a PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant subject (Synthetic, Polymer or Analytical Science) are essential.  A strong interest in environmental and sustainability issues, and the proven ability to work in teams and cross-disciplinary projects are also important.

The successful applicant will also be expected to assist in the delivery of laboratory classes.
