As part of the College of Health and Social Care's ongoing commitment to Public Health at the University of Salford, we are seeking to appoint an experienced research active senior lecturer to join our team. In addition to contributing to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, the successful applicant will enhance the research profile of the public health team in the forthcoming REF and actively contribute to the research agenda. We are particularly looking for candidates with expertise in:

  • Public health statistics
  • Epidemiology

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research (with strengths in a range of methodologies/paradigms), postgraduate supervision including at PhD level, curriculum/programme development, bidding for grants and teaching commensurate with their career profiles and be committed to interdisciplinary working. The candidate must be a good team player who is willing to work on a variety of complex activities and tasks on a daily basis.

Ideally candidates will have contributed to public health development at a regional, national or international level.
