The School of Health & Social Care is looking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Social Work to join its social work teaching team. You will have experience of social work with either adults or children and families and will have experience of teaching, training or staff development. You will contribute to the ongoing delivery of the BA (Hons) Social Work and MA Social Work programmes. This is an opportunity to make an important contribution to the education of social workers as the School prepares to develop its social work provision in response to the Reform Board proposals, in partnership with local services and service users.
It also provides an opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary department providing a range of programmes in social work, social care, professional practice, health and wellbeing, public health, social enterprise, and leadership and management. Applications from social workers employed in local services are welcomed and opportunities for secondment will be actively considered.
Salary Scale: £39242 - £47470 per annum inclusive
