The Faculty of Technology are looking for an experienced Senior Technician to provide a high quality technical support service within a diverse range of skills.

The post holder should be able to provide high quality technical advice to the Faculty Laboratory Manager and other senior staff.  The post will also be required to support learning and teaching activities for undergraduates, postgraduates and research students.  This will involve assisting academic colleagues in setting up and running of laboratories/classes and provide demonstrations to support the curriculum.

This is a challenging position, the successful candidate will need to be a highly organised with the ability and experience to manage a high volume of diverse and tasks. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and experience in working in research and teaching laboratories.

The successful candidate will also require a flexible attitude to changing work patterns, be available to work outside core working hours, thrive on working in a busy environment and enjoy providing a service to others.
