£20,271 to £22,000 per annum, depending on skills (pro rata to contract length)
Based at the Royal College of Physicians of London, the Clinical Standards Department strives to improve the quality of care to NHS patients by ensuring that best practice is followed. Part of the Clinical Standards Department, the Clinical Effectiveness and Evaluation Unit (CEEu) develops clinical guidelines, carries out national comparative audit and supports NHS teams improve practice.
The Stroke Programme - part of the CEEu - is seeking to appoint an exceptional Administrator to support the Stroke Programme. This is a rare opportunity to join an established team that supports the improvement of NHS services for people with stroke. The Programme develops and updates clinical guidelines, carries out national comparative clinical audit, produces information for patients and runs a peer review scheme.
Educated to diploma level or equivalent, you will have excellent administration and secretarial skills, be IT proficient and able to communicate well (both written and oral) with a large number of colleagues. The Stroke Programme is busy, varied and high-profile and so this role requires good organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and a sense of humour! The role is very well-supported by the Stroke Programme Team and colleagues within the Clinical Standards Department at the Royal College of Physicians.
