Neuroimaging measures of human perception and cognition
Salary: Up to £13,290
The Division of Psychology at Nottingham Trent University is a highly research-active department with a record of staff achievement that includes publications in prestigious journals, grant funding from research councils and consultancy work with a variety of stakeholders.
We are looking for keen and able candidates to apply for a studentship and undertake doctoral study in the priority area outlined below. The studentship will pay UK /EU fees, and provide a maintenance stipend of up to £13,290 for to three years.
Neuroimaging measures of human perception and cognition
This project will focus on exploring the relationship between patterns of brain activity and underlying psychological processes using quantitative EEG, event-related potentials and source modelling methods. Initial investigations will be undertaken in healthy adults, but opportunities exist for developing the work with children or clinical populations. Applicants should be numerate and, ideally, have a good working knowledge of cognitive neuroscience.
