Grade 10a: Salary £42,563 - £57,201 p.a.
The School of Anthropology and Museum Ethnography wishes to appoint a University Lecturer in Anthropology from 1 October 2011 or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate will be offered a tutorial fellowship at Keble College.
The combined University and College salary will be on a scale up to £57,201 p.a.
The ideal candidate has completed a doctorate in anthropology, has substantial research accomplishments and has experience of teaching graduates and undergraduates. The main responsibilities of the postholder will be to lead and teach on the BA in Human Sciences, the BA in Archaeology and Anthropology, and on the graduate programmes of the School, to supervise at undergraduate, graduate and research level, and to contribute significantly to the research profile of the School. The successful candidate will also be willing to undertake administrative duties in both School and College.
