This post will be part of an established design and development team, designing, developing and implementing user interfaces for a range of web based applications. This role requires fluency in standards compliant (X)HTML, CSS, as well as the ability to design/develop GUI concepts and application functionality, build and implement user interfaces for existing or new web based applications.You will have a degree, or equivalent qualification, or proven relevant experience. You must have a strong working knowledge of browser compatibility, accessibility and an impressive portfolio of previous work which demonstrates previous experience in a similar front-end design/development role. The Web Solutions Group is primarily a discretionary funded team within Information Systems Services (ISS), the main IT services supplier to the University of Leeds. Projects currently range from redeveloping the corporate website (www.leeds.ac.uk), large scale application developments to smaller bespoke web sites or multimedia applications.
University Grade 6 (£24,520 - £29,249p.a.) or University Grade 7 (£30,122 - £35,938 p.a.) dependent upon qualifications and experience.
